Since 2010, Sanita Private® feminine hygiene brand has run Positive Psychology programs, which empower women to actively participate as change agents in their own lives.
Promoting mental health and wellbeing is an important target within UN SDG3 (Target 3.4). Researchers and practitioners have recently introduced Positive Psychology concepts to the Arab region, including self-concept, passion, emotional wellbeing, and their influence on overall health and performance.
In 2016, Sanita Private continued its multi-year sequel, Believe and Achieve, by combining an ‘In Passion’ Career Orientation program at 215 schools in Lebanon, reaching over 14,900 girls, with a social media program that reached nearly 404,000 women in 5 Arabian Gulf countries. This program built on previous programs: Private, Passionate by Nature, which paid tribute to women’s unconditional love and determination to follow their dreams (2010 – 2014) and the 2015 Believe and Achieve integrated campaign that shared the passion of successful females who set high bars in their fields, reaching 7 countries in the Levant, Arabian Gulf and North Africa.
